Another Season Comes to a Close

As the days grow shorter so is the season at Liberty Township Sportsmen Association. We would like to update you on the goings on here this summer. We had 2 successful fund raisers both Chicken and Waffle dinners. We are just wrapping up the Toys for Howard Food Bank drive this year and want to let everyone know we will be delivering about fifty packages this season to help make some children's Christmas a little brighter. We also had a great time at the camp ground doing various activities to keep busy. More people took advantage of overnight camping this season, we wish to thank all of them for joining us and hope to see them next year. Another community minded event was hosted here in September, teaming with the Blanchard churches we held a Campfire Hymn Sing in memory of Scott Hilliard in which proceeds go to a fund to help needy families in the area this year. Thanks to all who came and enjoyed an evening of fellowship for a good cause. Please have a great fall and happy holidays. Will be back in 2010 with more exciting things happening at Liberty Townships Sportsmen Club.
